قرآن مجید فرقان حمید اللہ کے تبارک کی طرف سے حضرت محمد صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم پر نازل کی گئی وہ کتاب ہے جس پر چودہ صدیوں سے مفسرین قران نے اتنا کچھ لکھا لیکن پہر بھی قرآن مجید کا حق ادا نہیں کر سکے، قران مجید حضور نبی اکرم صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم پر نازل کیئے گئے معجزات میں سے ایک ایسا معجزہ  ہے جو کہ قیامت تک کے لیئے محفوظ کردیا گیا، قرآن مجید بطور ایک معجزہ کے موضوع پر پرفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد اکرم چوہدری صاحب کی یہ کتاب اپنے موضوع کے اعتبار سے ایک شاندار کتاب ہے The Holy Quran is the most read book in the world. This qualifies for an effort to expand on various themes that it addresses; its language, translation, dialectic, variants etc., which has been profoundly taken by the author. Notwithstanding, the author is presenting to the world, with his innovative assimilation of a yet another miraculous Quranic dimension pertaining to Semantic Extention - the words and phrases employed therein, after a millennium and a half, give same meaning which they used to give when it was revealed unto Muhammad (PBUH). This attribute is not shared by other extant revealed holy scriptures, hence it was never required to bring a new 'Revised Version' of the Holy Quran.
