Maryam & Others is Muzaffar A.  Ghaffar’s second volume of verse.His first books of poetry, ANOTHER VOICE, was well received (some extracts from reviews are given on the back cover).Mr.Ghaffar is President of Lahore Arts Forum (LEAF), which is considered to be the most active cultural organization in Pakistan (in its 16th year. Over 1250 programmes presented).Mr.Ghaffar is also regarded as a gifted translator of Punjabi and Urdu verse. Publication of the first two books of a series, entitled MASTER-WORKS OF PUNJAABI SUFI POETRY, on BULLEH SHAAH (2VOLS.) and SHAAH HUSAYN (3 vols.) have been published. The next two books in this series, on BAABA FAREED GANJSHAKAR, and BAABA NAANAK are under publication.The next three on SULTAN BAAHU, SACHAL SARMAST and KHAWAJA GHULAM FAREED are in the final stages of preparation
