Dr. Shaheer Ellahi Khan has done his doctorate in Anthropology from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad and M.Phil (with distinction) in International Development Studies from Iqra University Islamabad. His Masters training in Anthropology is from Department of Anthropology Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi. He has also received multiple training(s) on scientific writing skill(s) from University of Leeds (UK).

Dr. Khan is currently associated with the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) in the capacity of Assistant Professor at University of Central Punjab Lahore. He has various HEC recognized national and international research papers on different socio-cultural and development issues. He has also designed, conducted and disseminated many qualitative, exploratory and explanatory studies.

Dr. Khan has worked with various organizations working on health and education sector in different capacities L.e. full time, part-time, and consultant. He has been a member of various contextualized healthcare interventions development, research, implementation, and scaling activities. He also contributed to the development of many communication materials, advocacy materials and tools for patient education and community awareness.
